Lizzy’s First Fitness Photoshoot at Arbor Hills – A Fall Morning Well Spent

There’s something special about a first photoshoot. The energy is fresh, the excitement is real, and the creativity just flows. Lizzy showed up to Arbor Hills Nature Preserve on a chilly fall morning ready to make her mark, and she didn’t disappoint. This was our very first time working together—and her first session ever—but you’d never know it from how naturally she moved in front of the camera.

Just a week earlier, Lizzy stepped on stage at the NFF Championships in Arlington, where she came incredibly close to earning her pro card in the bikini division. That hard work was still written all over her frame. Even with the cold air and the early call time, she brought that same discipline and confidence right into this session.

Arbor Hills had that perfect fall glow—golden light, crunchy leaves, and a calm breeze drifting through the trees. The sun sat low enough to give us those soft backlit moments that photographers dream of. It made showcasing Lizzy’s toned figure and bubbly personality easy. Every outfit she brought fit the setting beautifully, from the red fitness set on the rocks to the tall-grass shots with the warm fall tones behind her.

What stood out the most was how quickly Lizzy became comfortable. First-time sessions can sometimes feel stiff, but she eased into each pose and trusted the process. By the end, it felt like we’d been working together for years.

This won’t be our last project together. Lizzy has a bright future in fitness, on and off the stage, and capturing this moment in her journey was an honor. Cold morning or not, we created something special—and that’s what makes mornings like this worth it.

This dynamic slow-motion spin highlights her fitness physique, fall vibes, and the energy of her first-ever photoshoot just one week after competing at the NFF Championships.
